Course Summary

Journaling Explorations is a six-week live group experience that offers a calm, supportive space to engage journaling as a contemplative practice for insight, emotional regulation, and wise self-connection.
 
Rather than teaching a single rigid technique, this course introduces a grounded journaling practice that includes several complementary approaches. These include free writing to get things out and name what’s present; reflective writing across key areas of life such as health, relationships, work, and daily rhythms; and a structured two-phase journaling process that helps you first discharge emotional intensity, then listen inward for clarity and perspective. 

Sessions unfold around meaningful life themes and emphasize listening over fixing, and discernment over analysis. The aim is not to journal “correctly,” but to create enough inner spaciousness for insight to emerge naturally — and for next steps to become clear.


Who This Course is For

This course may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel mentally or emotionally full and want a gentle way to unload and sort through what’s here 
  • Want clearer access to intuition or inner knowing without bypassing real emotions  
  • Tend to ruminate, spiral, or overthink and want a steadier relationship with your inner voice  
  • Are navigating decisions, transitions, or ongoing life patterns  
  • Appreciate reflective practices grounded in compassion, realism, and self-trust

No prior journaling experience is required.


What You’ll Practice and Learn

Through guided weekly sessions, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use expressive journaling to get thoughts and emotions out of your head and onto the page 
  • Practice reflective and integrative journaling to notice patterns, connect dots, and clarify what matters  
  • Use a two-phase dialogue process when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure — first expressing reactivity, then responding from a steadier, wiser inner place  
  • Distinguish between fear-based thinking, habitual narratives, and deeper inner clarity  
  • Respond to yourself with compassion, steadiness, and perspective  
  • Develop a grounding journaling rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable in daily life

Over time, journaling becomes less about problem-solving and more about listening, orienting, and aligning.


Weekly Live Sessions

Each weekly session may include some combination of:

  • Time for expressive writing, reflection, and integration 
  • Guided writing prompts centered on a specific life theme 
  • Gentle guidance on how to work skillfully with what arises  
  • Intentional two-phase journaling for responding to yourself with clarity and compassion when you feel stuck or overwhelmed
  • Group reflection and shared learning

Between sessions, you’ll receive brief prompts or reflections to support integration and continuity of practice in daily life.

The pace is intentionally spacious. You’re encouraged to engage at a level that feels supportive rather than demanding.


Course Curriculum

Access & Scheduling

  • You’ll receive immediate access to the course welcome materials after enrolling 
  • Weekly lessons and live class links unlock on schedule as the series begins   
  • All live sessions are recorded, and replays are available throughout the course

You’re welcome to attend live whenever possible, but you’ll never be penalized for missing a session.

Course access remains available for 90 days from the date of enrollment, allowing time for review, reflection, and integration beyond the live series.

Because access to digital materials and course content is provided immediately upon enrollment, this program is non-refundable once access has been granted.
