Zenyasa® — April 2026

6 Weeks • April 8 – May 13

A Zenyasa® movement practice that applies the Five Elements as an organizing framework for balanced strength, mobility, and somatic awareness.

Also included in the 6-Week All-Access Pass

Course Summary

Zenyasa®  offers a structured, embodied exploration of the Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, and Fire themes. The postures, exercises, and sequences within each element collectively strengthen and stretch every major muscle group in the body, providing a reliable way to cultivate musculoskeletal balance, strength, mobility, and somatic awareness.

While some elements include flowing sequences, others emphasize functional strength, stability, and deliberate, non-flow-based movement.

Through structured lessons and guided practices, you’ll explore the sequencing principles unique to each element, developing an embodied understanding of the full scope of the Zenyasa® method.

Who This Course is For

Zenyasa® may be a good fit if you:

  • Appreciate a movement practice that gives equal emphasis to strengthening and stretching
  • Value knowing that the sequencing has been intentionally designed to address every major muscle pathway in the body
  • Feel intrigued by the organization of movement according to the Five Elements
  • Want to deepen breath–movement integration and somatic awareness
  • Prefer mindful, breath-centered sequencing that blends stability with fluidity

This course is ideal for returning movers, students who enjoy thoughtful, structured flow-based practices, and anyone drawn to a somatic method that integrates stability, mobility, and balanced full-body conditioning.

What You’ll Practice and Learn

Zenyasa® teaches you the full expression of all five elemental themes — a sequencing system that organizes movement by muscle groups and meridian pathways to create balanced strength, flexibility, and mobility throughout the entire body.

In this course, you’ll learn sequencing strategies for:

  • The Earth element, which focuses on lower body postures and exercises to develop rootedness, stability, and a grounded foundation
  • The Metal element, which focuses on upper body postures and exercises to build strength, stability, and postural alignment in the shoulder girdle
  • The Water element, which focuses on the back body and twisting postures to improve rotational mobility and ease of movement
  • The Wood element, which focuses on the side body and hips to increase hip strength and mobility, improve lateral flexibility, and expand the ribcage to support fuller breathing
  • The Fire element, which focuses on the abdominals and core to develop integrated strength and internal support

This method helps prevent overuse, supports musculoskeletal balance, and provides a comprehensive framework for full-body, somatically grounded practice.

Weekly Live Sessions

Each live class is a 90-minute guided movement practice and follows a steady, predictable rhythm designed to support depth, integration, and unhurried pacing.

Sessions include:

  • Seated meditation to establish breath awareness and internal listening
  • Opening the Gates to prepare joints and connective tissue
  • Mountain Flow and Step-Back Sun Salutations to warm the body and encourage energy flow
  • A 5-Element movement sequence designed to strengthen and stretch specific muscle groups
  • Clear verbal guidance that supports pacing, interoception, and self-regulation
  • Time for cool-down postures, deep relaxation, and integration at the close of practice

Classes are guided rather than led, allowing you to move at your own pace and stay connected to your internal experience throughout the practice.

Access & Scheduling

  • One live class per week (90 minutes) is included with enrollment
  • All sessions are recorded and available for replay
  • If you miss your scheduled class, we encourage you to practice with the replay at your convenience

Course access remains available for 90 days from the date of enrollment, allowing time for review, reflection, and integration beyond the live series.

Because access to digital materials and course content is provided immediately upon enrollment, this program is non-refundable once access has been granted.
